I've been engaged in a mighty battle with my 8-year-old daughter over the sorting of our dirty laundry. In a three-bag laundry hamper, I've insisted that they be sorted by blacks, colors, and whites. She, on the other hand, insists in sorting it according to whose laundry is in each bag. Tonight, I think I lost.

While watching the Sound of Music, our little girl started laughing and crying out "There are trolls on the wallpaper! They're praying to trolls! It's all a lie!" I thought she was just being silly, but take a look for yourself. It IS all a lie!

Thanks to our gracious neighbors, we went to a BBQ at one of the houses the Obamas rented for their Christmas vacation last year. Our house could've easily fit in the back yard.
